It is made of very tough yet flexible plastic and is far better than the old style external handle model. It is collapsible, which means it packs away easily when not in use, but it also means that structurally it is not very rigid. If you plan to slide it or drop it on the ground it will not work for you. It will get leaks. If you are careful and want collapsible water containers that are lightweight and easy to pack, this is the ticket. Highly recommended!
