How to Play:
- Press the two air holes on the back with your two thumbs and press the front air holes with your forefingers and middle fingers
- Hold the ocarina bottom gently with your ring fingers in case it drops out when you loose all the other fingers
- Gently press the air holes with your finger pulps not your finger tips; do not leave any interspace and do not press them too hard
- Put the mouthpiece in your mouth, not too deep and you can play it

Say by Anonymous user 2011-12-14 19:02:51 I did not get the exact one that I ordered (the picture on this one shows solid color yet the one I recieved was the cracked pattern). The difference is the only reason there are 4 stars instead of 5. The shipping took a little longer than the 15 days, but oddly enough it made it exactly on my birthday. HOWEVER, the instrument is great for the price. I am 19 now and just wanted to take up a 4th instrument. Being a Zelda fan I chose this, and every Alto C ocarina I could find (the main intonation for Zelda songs) were $40 . This is probably just as good as any Alto C ocarina you can find under $50, unless you were to get a Zelda replica, which you are then paying for look and name, not quality.
This is more than worth the $17.50 it costs. The wait for it to arrive will kill you inside, but when it gets there it will be fun. Want an ocarina? Get this one. Just remember, it can be either a grayish or bluish color and it IS A CRACKED PATTERN. Not sleek like the picture shows.
Say by Anonymous user 2011-11-26 10:53:27 We ordered this for my son, a Zelda fan, they were so much here in the U.S. and I didn't want to spend $80 for one. The one we received was great. It sounds really nice and I was surprised at how easy it was for him to play (11 years old) without lessons (except Utube). I ordered another for my 8 year old daughter.
